How soon will my car wash products be delivered? If you place your order before 10.30 pm on working days, we’ll usually dispatch your parcel the very same day. That means you can get started this weekend and achieve a brilliant result on puruscarwash.nl.
If you place your order at the weekend, by 10.30 pm on Sunday, you’ll usually receive it on Monday.

Questions about Product Use & Technical Matters

Is a pH-neutral shampoo really necessary? Absolutely. A pH-neutral shampoo from Purus cleans effectively without damaging any existing wax layers or coatings. This is essential for preserving the paint protection you have carefully applied.

What is the difference between a wheel cleaner and an ‘iron remover’? A standard wheel cleaner removes general dirt and grease. A Iron Remover (such as our fallout remover) reacts chemically with burnt-on brake dust and metal particles. You can tell this by the purple discolouration. An iron remover is essential for heavily soiled wheel rims.

Can I use my upholstery cleaner on leather as well? We recommend always using a specific product for leather, such as our Leather Cleaner. A general-purpose interior cleaner (APC) can dry out leather, whereas our leather care products actually help to maintain its suppleness.

Tips for the Best Results

What is the ’two-bucket method’ and why is it important? This is the golden rule for scratch-free washing. Use one bucket of shampoo and one bucket of clean rinse water. After each panel, rinse your wash mitt in the rinse bucket before applying fresh lather. This prevents you from rubbing sand and dirt into the paintwork.

How can I prevent limescale stains after washing? Limescale stains form when water dries on the paintwork. You should therefore always use one of our microfibre drying towels (Drying Towels) with high absorbency to pat the car dry immediately after rinsing.

Maintaining your Tools

How do I wash my microfibre cloths and washing gloves? Wash your cloths in the washing machine at 30 or 40 degrees after use. Please note: Never use fabric conditioner, as this clogs the fibres and destroys the fabric’s absorbency. It is best to use a special microfibre detergent.
